Pretty Plant Palette cottage garden
This modern take on the cottage garden was designed to provide a riot of colour through the use of herbaceous perennials, roses and flowering trees. It complemented the restored traditional cottage, which provided a beautiful backdrop to the different flower and foliage colours and textures. Whilst this garden has a definite Spring ‘peak’, many plants continue to flower into Autumn.
Plants used were moderately drought hardy, but did best with some supplementary watering.
